Ford brings out its newly designed and updated
version of SVT Raptor in 2016, after an extensive wait of 20 long years, which
was first released in 1996. The new 2016 Ford Bronco Raptor comes out in a
wholly changed and fresh avatar. Mostly to be built from aluminium panel,
2016 Ford Bronco will have the same familiar uniformity of its predecessors
from 2015. Aluminium panels on its body mean a hugely improved fuel consumption
value. This upcoming 4×4 SUV (Sports Utility Vehicle) will be based
on Ford Atlas model. The old bed has been replaced by a larger and extended
cabin.
This 2016 Ford Bronco SVT Raptor is being
deemed to be the most powerful off road truck to be released in 2015. This car
will be released with an option to choose from three versatile engines. Base
model will be powered by a 4.9 litre Powerstroke V6 engine
which would be able to pump out 330 brake horsepower. The intermediate variant
will be run by a 5.0 litre Coyote V8 which has an ability to produce something
around 420 brake horsepower while the highest variant will be driven by a 5.8
litre 8 cylinder engine, much similar to that which lies under the bonnet of Shelby
Mustang GT500, and will be able to produce 662 brake horsepower along with 631
pound feet of torque. The transmissions which are assumed to be coupled with
these beasts of an engine are either a 6 speed 6R140 automatic transmission or
a 6 speed ZF6 manual transmission. Nothing in this regard is certain and is
subject to speculation. The fuel economy has also not been confirmed.
